There is a single sponsored link in each issue of the newsletter, featured prominently directly above the "News" section. As there is only one sponsor in every issue it means you're not fighting for position with any other companies, you get the full attention of the readers. Sponsored links can be booked below. Just like the non-sponsored content in the email, every sponsored link should be highly relevant to the content creation, filmmaking, movie, TV, and streaming content industries. This works to your advantage as a sponsor because readers are confident that every sponsored link is relevant, they are more likely to click through.

Your sponsored link will appear in one email distributed to all subscribers and also permanently linked in the archived issue on the web site. We will also add your company's logo to our Previous Sponsors section that will link to your website.

Sponsored links on Filmmaking Central are only guaranteed and locked into the schedule as soon as payment is received. The quickest and easiest way to pay is with a credit card but payment by electronic bank transfers is also available upon request.


Sponsored links on Filmmaking Central are in quite a strict format, but one which is very similar to the organic content in the newsletter so this works in your favor. The sponsored link is made up of three parts:

Title – A single line of text. This should be somewhere around five to ten words.

URL – The URL you'd like to send people to! The title will be linked to here.

Body – A single paragraph of text, directly under the title. No markup or other formatting is allowed. The maximum length for the paragraph is 60 words, but don't feel you need to use all the words as sometimes shorter is more effective! You may also include one additional link in this body text which goes to the same URL as the main sponsored link (although UTM parameters can change, if required!)

It's a good idea to look through some of the archives to get a feel of what these links look like.

By default, the URL will automatically include UTM parameters which will indicate to your analytics software that the traffic is coming from Creative Economist. If you'd prefer to use your own UTMs or other tracking parameters that's no problem at all!
